Introduction to Mosaic Art Making

In this 3 hour workshop geared towards beginners you will make a small 2-dimensional mosaic with vitreous and unglazed porcelain tiles using the direct technique. You will learn how to safely cut and break tesserae (in this case tile), lay and glue your tile using rules of andamento and grout your piece. All materials, supplies and use of tools are provided. No experience is necessary.
