MDI artist & art teacher Carol Shutt has created a wonderful video to inspire us to create art projects at home:

Making Protest Signs

Have you been participating in the various demonstrations for racial justice in our area? Do you need a place to make a powerful sign to carry at the next event or workshop steps for action? Come visit us in our new outdoor workshop space and make a sign of your own! All materials provided: stencils, spray paint, markers, cardboard, poster board, glitter, etc. We'll workshop ideas for phrases to put on signs, and discuss the impact of protest language as well as other ways to support this movement in our local community.
