Fundamentals in Basic Oil Painting Weekend

June 19th, Friday, 5:30 - 7PM

June 20 - 21, Saturday and Sunday, 10-1pm

This course is designed for beginners and for those that have minimal painting experience. Students will learn the fundamentals of basic oil painting , the importance of underpainting, working with limited palettes, paint applications, the fat over lean approach and composition. Everything is included. 

Your Instructor, Rainey,  will address the various brands of oil paint, brush types and painting mediums.

Rainey is an artist/art educator living in San Antonio, TX. She has been exhibiting work since 1995. In 2006 she established House Paint Art Studio where she teaches both oil and pastel painting.
