Art & Sip Mini Plein Air painting

Relax, create, and enjoy a night out at ArtWaves! Our Art & Sip workshops are designed to be fun, beginner-friendly experiences where you can explore a new creative skill in a relaxed and welcoming environment. No prior experience is needed—our instructors will guide you step by step, and all materials are provided.

These workshops are for participants ages 21+. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage (BYOB) to enjoy while you create. Art & Sip is even more fun with friends, so gather a group and sign up together for a creative night out!

Using an Altoid tin box as a mini pochade box, create quick mini landscape paintings with a focus on composition, color values, shapes and working with a restricted palette. All materials included and there's the chance to catch a bit of twilight!

Rainey is an artist/art educator living in San Antonio, TX. She has been exhibiting work since 1995. In 2006 she established House Paint Art Studio where she teaches both oil and pastel painting.
