Color Interaction: Color Theory for Visual Artists with Robert Pollien
Saturday, March 14th, 1 - 3 PM.
"The kingdom of colors has within it multidimensional possibilities only partly to be reduced to simple order. Each individual color is a universe in itself."
- Johannes Itten
In this class we will take on some of the classic color problems, as taught by Josef Albers of the Bauhaus, Black Mountain College and Yale University. Additional topics that relate specifically to the effective use of color in painting, will be discussed.
