Mixed Media Mosaic Jars (Fall 2023 HandWorks Festival)
Saturday, November 4th 2:00-4:00 pm.
Special Festival Registration Fee: $20 (includes all materials)
Participants will learn how to cut, grind and arrange ArtWaves extensive supply of glass, tiles, natural materials, and colorful pottery bits to create whatever mosaic pattern or image they like. All materials and instruction are provided, just bring your imagination. Choose to come to one class or both! You are welcome to bring in wee tiny objects to enhance your one of a kind jar or mirror! The jars are wonderful to hold your special objects as well!
This is a skill you can bring to ArtWaves Open Studio Time where materials and tools are available in the studio for members to continue working with glass-( who would want to do this at home?) Here's the amazing details - after all we are a community arts center! https://artwavesmdi.org/join-us
