Join Erica Qualey via Zoom for a Step by Step Watercolor Painting Class!

Back by popular demand… We will be painting our way through the winter blues with a step by step paint alongs. This class is a great way to jump into painting with watercolor and grow your skill and confidence. Grab your paintbrushes and join the fun!  

Erica will lead you through live, interactive watercolor paint alongs, via ZOOM, sharing lots of tips and techniques each session to help you grow your watercolor skills. During each session, Erica provides step-by-step instruction on how to paint each beautiful scene in an easy and approachable way. Prior to the workshop, you will receive a PDF of the under drawing which you can trace or use as a guide to drawing your own, a materials list, as well as a video showing how to get yourself set up and ready to paint. This class will be focused on gaining understanding of basic watercolor techniques and each session will end with a finished painting. 

Open to beginner and intermediate skill levels.

SUPPLIES NOT INCLUDED! If you want to take the class via Zoom at ArtWaves, we can supply you with materials for a $10 fee.

About Erica:

Erica Qualey is an award winning watercolor artist and teacher who lives in midcoast of Maine. She has exhibited internationally and is represented in private collections throughout the United States and Canada. She is a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society, has been published in the 19th edition of the yearly publication, Splash, and is a recipient of an Artist Project Grant through the Maine Arts Commission.  She has lead workshops for adults at Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, ArtWaves DMI on Mount Dessert Island, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deere Isle, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and other art associations. She has participated in visiting artist programs in public schools and has run art programming for children through her local library.
