Block Printing Fantastical Creatures - Aug 2022
Do you find yourself daydreaming of dragons, monsters, or unicorns? Do you like to draw creatures that you make up in your mind? Then this is the perfect workshop for you! In this workshop you will learn how to make a block print starting from a sketch. No previous experience is required!
Wednesday Aug 10th, 2022, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, please arrive early to settle in before class begins.
$45 with materials included ($35 for members)
Teens/Adults of all skill levels
Masks, vax'd (over 5), and distancing for staff and participant safety.
About the instructor: Gabrielle is a young illustrator and multimedia artist. She grew up on a small island in Maine, and consistently finds her art influenced by her upbringing. She worked for the Illustration institute based out of Portland Maine in 2020 producing a short documentary series about how drawing influences thinking. Gabrielle is currently enrolled at College of the Atlantic and is on course to graduate with a study in visual narratives. When she’s not drawing or crafting you can find her planning her next cross-country bike tour.
