Introduction to Drawing is a beginner-friendly class that covers the fundamentals of still life, portrait, and landscape drawing over six sessions. Participants will expand their portfolio while familiarizing themselves with the basics of graphite, charcoal, and ink drawing. No experience required, all materials included (people are encouraged to keep a personal sketchbook throughout the course as a matter of habit.)

About the Instructor: Makayla Corrigan is an illustrator and instructor in Mount Desert Maine. She has taught a variety of mediums to a large range of age groups and works as a freelance illustrator, primarily working with watercolors, ink, and digital mediums. She loves engaging with students throughout the process of creation and is excited to be a part of the ArtWaves community.
