A class for all levels, explore African culture through african traditional movement styles such kizomba, kwasa kwasa, kwaito,ngoma, malipenga and gule wamkulu. Participants will learn how to move/shake to the diverse african rhythmic sound which simultaneously combines two or more energetic drum beats. Participants will travel to Africa through catchy, groovy, popular and energetic afro-fusion music unique to different tribes within the African Continent. African dance embodies the importance of connecting emotionally with the mind, body and soul.Creative movement promotes a healthy heart and music is the social fabric of any community.
No experience needed, everyone is welcome but must be fully vaccinated.
Wear comfortable non-slippery gym shoes and be ready to have fun!
