Step by Step Watercolor by Erica Qualey
March 9, 23, April 6, 20 3:30 - 5:30
Have you learned the basic watercolor skills but feel like you need a bit of guidance to bring your paintings to the next step? This every other week class may be just what you are looking for! Grab your paintbrushes and join our watercolor painting group! We will be painting our way through the winter blues.
Erica will lead you through live, interactive watercolor paint-alongs, via ZOOM, sharing lots of tips and techniques each session to help you grow your watercolor skills. This block of classes will be focused on gaining understanding and control of wet on wet washes, paint consistency, and lost and found edges.
During each session, Erica provides step-by-step instruction on how to paint each beautiful scene in an easy and approachable way. Prior to the workshop, you will receive a PDF of the underdrawing which you can trace or use as a guide to drawing your own, a materials list, as well as a video showing how to get yourself set up and ready to paint. This class is designed as an ongoing class that will meet every other week. Participants are asked to commit to 4 alternate week session blocks at a time.
Some experience necessary, open to advanced beginner and intermediate skill levels.
