Join Liz Cutler and learn to create your own charming felted bird!
In this class, you'll use natural wool fibers and wire to needle felt a unique and possibly realistic bird.
Liz will guide you through each step, from shaping the body and needling feather details to creating the feet. You can even personalize your bird with special touches like a non-wool beak or beads, and work from reference photos or your own imagination. It is wonderful as they can develop their own birdie personalities.
Here is a relaxing way to learn new techniques, a wonderful time to socialize with other fiber artists, keep your hands busy, and enjoy the calming, repetitive motions of felting! This workshop is perfect for both seasoned felters and curious beginners. You are welcome to follow along to felt a bird or a felt a flat "painted with wool" tapestry.
All instructions and materials are provided, and you'll take home a finished project ready to display! Under 10 needs an adult companion.
