I am a self taught watercolorist, but I have had many influences that I emulate in my work. My grandfather was an architect who painted in watercolor and it was his paintings that have inspired me to explore this medium. At an early age I was given awards for my watercolors and throughout my education I used watercolors in my presentations. I learn from the past master’s and practicing artist’s to improve my understanding of techniques and materials. I paint watercolors both studio and Plein air, and my subjects range from Portraits, Landscapes, Architectural and Figure painting. I enjoy sharing this knowledge with others and encourage others to explore their unique passions through
watercolors. My paintings are in Private Collections and Corporate Collections in Maine and NewYork City. I have participated in Group shows and Solo shows here in Maine.
