I was born in Brooklyn. For my BFA I went to the Fine Arts coordinated program at the University of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts I also studied at the Barnes Foundation for two years. I attended the Skowhegan School for two summers in high school and won the second prize in drawing. Two years after college I was in the Peace Corps in Peru and won a painting prize there, I got an MS from Pratt Institute with a major in painting and print making. I have taught art in public school and Recreation Centers and also taught gifted children. I have exhibited in many venues including the annual exhibit at the Wingspread, College of the Atlantic, figure work at Shaws gallery etc. I am Married and have one child, and now paint full time.
