Rebecca GoodaleBotanical Pop-Up Books
Rebecca Goodale makes unique and limited edition books. Her current project, Threatened and Endangered, is inspired by Maine’s rare plants and animals. Her work is in numerous collections including Bowdoin College Library, The Maine Women Writers Collection, New York Public Library, Herron Art Library, IN, Hawai’i State Art Museum, and the White House Ornament Collection.

Nicole DesimoneDrawing & Painting
Nicole DeSimone has earned a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Pennsylvania and has studied painting at The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and the Atlanta College of Art. She primarily works in oil, focusing on landscape and figurative subject matter.

Jessica HarrisMixed Medium Kaleidoscope Studio Instructor
Jessica has participated in shows and exhibits throughout MDI, Belfast, and Blue Hill, Arts Week at local schools, as well as previously coordinating and running a Friday Art Club for after school students. She has illustrated two cookbooks, wrote articles for "Yard Sale Maven" at the Ellsworth American, and is currently working on a poetry and art collaboration.
France HilbertSculpture & Painting
Hilbert’s major work consists of sculpture for public space. As a classically trained artist, she also receives regular commission work in painting and drawing.

Ben LincolnRepresentational Painting
Ben Lincoln earned a diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston where he studied painting in the studio Domingo Barreres. He continued his studies at the SMFA with a year of independent study as part of the school’s Fifth Year Program. For that work, he was awarded a prestigious traveling fellowship and accompanying exhibition of work at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Mary Beth BowersEncaustics/Mixed Medium
Mary Beth Bowers has both practiced and taught art for many years. She holds a BFA in the fine arts, and a Masters in Education. Still teaching here at ArtWaves, she also teaches workshops at “Schoodic Arts For All “
and various local workshops and venues-exhibiting her Art here as well. The Lighthouse Arts Center in Bucksport has also invited her to to hold workshops and exhibit her work there as well.
Lynn CurranFused Glass, Jewelry, Ceramics
As a teen, while a counselor at Camp Vega in Readfield, Maine, Lynn gained more experience with pottery and jewelry-making. And during college, Lynn extended her love affair with clay and wheel work at the Hilltop Center for Crafts at the University of Maine in Orono. From 1978 through 1984, Lynn was fortunate to study and collaborate with Jacqueline Weaver.
