Amy Gagnon

Amy has been painting for over 15 years and has worked in many mediums including; oil, acrylic, watercolor, graphite, ink, and charcoal. She graduated from the University of Maine, Orono in 2007 with a B.S. in Horticulture and a B.A. in Studio Art. She has attended the Haystack Mountain School of Arts and crafts, traveled half-way around the world, and is a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators. Her work has been featured in Detritus a journal of arts & culture. Currently, Amy has a tiny studio in her home on Mount Desert Island where she enjoys painting, gardening, and goes hiking almost every weekend.
